During mediation, it is the job of the mediator to relay offers back and forth between the parties. Not only does a mediator relay the offer, the mediator will sit with each part and discuss the offer. They will consider the pros and cons of the offer and how it best serves you to meet your goal and if there’s any counteroffers that you would like to make. At the conclusion of the mediation, if a settlement is made, the mediator will assist you in putting together a written agreement for all the parties to sign.
